Right in the middle of the Beacon Hill area of downtown Boston, Charles Street is a little village in it's own right and the Inn is dead bang centre stsge. Everything you would expect from this price ranged Hotel. I havr stsyed in better gor the price but not many have such a prime location.
Big difference in breakfast servings from day one to day two!! Still good quality though!!!!

Excellent small Boutique property in the heart of Charles Street, close to everything and walkable distance from some of the best sites. Ideal if you are looking for a super luxury Inn experience. Don't forget to have all day breakfast at Paramount or Italian in one of the many boutique joints. A great experience.

location, service and building architecture
No parking, TV position in the room is not the best. TV gets blocked by bed pillars, shower water pressure was weak.

The location is ideal, the hotel hugely charming for those who (like me) enjoy old houses. The staff is very attentive and friendly (un-Bostonian !) The room is well equipped and coffee, tea, fruit, cookies and soft drinks are all complimentary. My bath tub was jacuzzi-style. The bed was gorgeous.
Not a place for those who like modern amenities and standard service. This hotel is a luxury B&B. Personally, I love this kind of place but others may feel differently. Rooms that face the street may be noisy in the evening because of idiots who honk their horns until late in the evening.
